Be a part of the process and share your ideas with us!
A successful plan is made possible through active community participation. Outreach activities are designed to give you — the community — a forum to share your visions and priorities for parks, open space, recreational facilities, and recreation programs in San Carlos. Those ideas guide the project planning process and become the basis for the master plan strategies. Community outreach and public engagement are key to ensuring that the final plan accurately and holistically represents the City of San Carlos and its diverse residents.
Beginning in August 2024, we’ll be hosting in-person and virtual outreach activities to spread awareness about the project and give community voices a chance to be heard. Through pop-up events, surveys, workshops, public meetings, and more, our project team will collaborate with the community at each step of the planning process and collect valuable feedback along the way. Opportunities to provide input on this project are listed below.
ROUND TWO
Share your ideas to enhance parks, enliven open spaces, and celebrate recreation in our community! Last fall, we collected community feedback about recreation habits, amenity uses, and desired improvements for the San Carlos Parks Master Plan. Now, we’d like more feedback to clarify priorities and understand what’s really important.
Details about how to participate in this exciting process are below.
